 Length of fellowship: 2 years

 Focus:  Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program develops academic pediatric hospitalists who are experts in the care of acutely and chronically ill hospitalized newborns, children and adolescents.

Graduates of this program will be leaders in the following areas:

  • Innovation, collaboration and provision of high quality and efficient care to hospitalized pediatric patients
  • Advocacy and the promotion of wellness for hospitalized pediatric patients
  • Research and quality improvement
  • Education of patients, families, trainees and colleagues

Percent clinical time: 50% scheduled clinical time with 5 months of individualized education to be determined based on fellow’s interests

Options for advanced degree: Yes, potential for advanced degree (multiple options thru Ohio State University) with section chief and chair approval.
